6-foot-170, pound, strong, solid athletic frame, already filling out put together well, strength throughout. A right-handed hitting catcher, at the plate, swung the bat very well at this event. The stance is wider, even feet, hands are loaded at shoulder height, more of a flat setup. The lower half is under control, small pickup and put down with stride foot, behind the baseball on foot strike. The hands work with easy effort through the hitting zone, more of a level path, finishes at shoulder height with one hand. Shows length through the baseball, approach is from gap to gap, has enough juice to get the baseball deep into the gaps, had an exit velocity of 92 mph. Defensively, shows quick feet behind the plate, had a pop time of 2.06-2.10, arm was clocked at 73 mph works from a higher slot. All throws were on or close with downhill flight. Showed quickness on the block, anticipates well. Continued work on softening the hands on the catch. Good looking young catcher, super athletic.
