6-foot-2, 235-pound, physical athletic frame, over the last year has lost a good amount of weight, has gotten himself in tremendous shape. Committed to Uconn, a powerful left-handed hitter. The stance is a bit closer, hands are loose off the back shoulder, uses a toe tap and steps in a bit with his stride. The swing is flat, shows raw power to all fields, does a great job of hitting the ball where it's pitched. The tee exit velocity was 90, ball jumps off the bat. Ran a 4.6 from home to first, runs ok for a big kid. Defensively, plays first, has soft hands and footwork is good around the bag. Recovering from jammed thumb on throwing hand, didn't get a chance to throw at all. During the high school season had a breakout year and has continued this summer. Uconn is getting a good one.

This left-handed hitter has major juice in his hands. His tee exit velocity was 86. His in game swings were very good. He hits from a closed off stance, but his quick hands allow him to get through the zone to hit the ball. The ball jumps off his bat, he drove it well to both gaps. He ran 5.16 down the line. At first base, his footwork needs improvement. He showed an average arm, starting the double play. He has soft hands and can catch the ball, but needs to have his feet in the correct place. If he gets his body into better shape, it will allow him to do some serious damage offensively.
