8/12/20
6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder and pitcher. He ran a 8.22 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield needs to be smoothed out with the feet so he can stay active and aid the throwing process. The hands are soft with the glove. He threw 64 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 83 mph. The setup is wide in base and the front foot steps into the swing. The path is long, drops his backside causing the bat plane to work uphill. The frame is big and physical.

6-foot-1, 190-pound, solid, larger athletic frame, big and physical. A right-handed hitter, even setup, hands at the shoulders. The swing is down to up, hands are inside the baseball, staying in the middle of the field. The exit velocity was clocked at 82 mph and ran a 8.37 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, works low to the ground, glove is soft, feet move throughout. The arm action is longer on the backside, working out of a 3/4 slot, opens early on the back, could stay closed longer, arm was clocked at 62 mph, all throws were on the bag. Off the mound, this right-hander, has a simple, repeatable delivery, hands start and stay low, an athletic leg kick, loaded on the backside. The front side is softer on foot strike, could stick it a bit more. The arm action has average length, working out of a natural slot. The fastball was clocked at 68 mph and mixed in a breaking ball at 57 mph. Will need to add arm strength and arm speed.

6-foot-1, 185-pound, stronger, thick, well proportioned athletic frame. Already filling out, strength throughout. A right-handed hitting two-way player. Off the mound, has a quick tempo delivery, building momentum down the mound. The hands start and stay at the mid section, tempo to leg raise, with coil. The arm action, is clean on the backside, working from an over the top slot. The fastball was clocked at 71 mph. Threw both secondary pitches at 61 mph. The changeup showing arm side fade and breaking ball proper shape, with good 11/7 spin. At the plate, wider even feet, sits in a small squat. The swing is short to contact, a down to level path, stays through the baseball. The approach is from gap to gap, showing advanced power to pull side of the field for a 2023, had a tee exit velocity of 82 mph. Defensively, threw 68 mph across the diamond. The glove is soft, feet work well together with hands, with flow. The arm strength will need to continue to improve to stick at third base, projects for mr to play first base long term.

6-foot, 185-pound, larger athletic frame, well proportioned athlete. A right-handed hitting two-way player, setup at the plate is wider, slightly open, hands set at the shoulders, small pick up and put down with stride foot, lower half is under control. The swing path is level to up, creates lift to it, with backspin to the baseball. The approach is more to the pull side, had a tee exit velocity of 78 mph and ran a 4.63 from home to 1st. Defensively, threw 63 mph across the diamond, arm works form a higher slot. The prep steps are clean, fields out front with soft hands, hands and feet work well together. Off the mound, hands start and stay high, direction is inline to the plate, small collapse on the bask side, could stay taller throughout. The arm action is clean, works at a higher slot, could release it a tick away from the head. The fastball was clocked at 75 mph, showed true straight four seam action. The breaking ball was clocked at 58-61 mph and changeup was clocked at 57-58 mph. Projects for me more as a corner infielder, a move to 1st base long term could be in the works.
