6-foot, 230-pound, strong, thick athletic frame, already filling out, is durable. A right-handed hitting two-way player. At the plate, even feet, slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are relaxed, quiet, set higher than shoulder height. Transfers the weight from backside to front, gliding, gaining ground. The swing is level to up, keeping hands inside the baseball, approach is more middle, creating lift to the swing. Shows to have plus bat speed, clocked at 83 mph, with more in there. Ran a 7.85 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, threw 76 mph across the diamond from 3rd to 1st. The glove is soft on picks, fields out front, footwork was correct in starting double plays. Off the mound, wrap and coil to leg raise. Lands slightly across his body, arm action is longer, working from a higher slot. The fastball was clocked at 73-74 mph, located in bottom part of the zone, a true 4-seamer. The slider was clocked at 62-63 mph, gets around it at times, changeup showed to have down action, clocked at 65-66 mph. Projects for me as a 1st baseman, potential to hit with some power.
