6-foot-1, 190-pound, strong physical frame, the shoulders are square, is well proportioned throughout. A left-handed hitter, has an open to even stance, the hands are quick to the baseball, set just below the shoulders with looseness and movement to them. The swing is level to up, the approach is gap to gap and barrel stays in the zone a long time. The tee exit velocity was 71 mph and ran a 4.7 from home to first. Defensively, plays the hot corner, the feet are very good, has good actions in attacking the baseball, moves extremely well to glove side and gets off the blocks well. The hands are soft, gets ball out front, exchange is short and smooth. The arm works out of a ¾ slot to low-¾, arm path is short and was clocked at 76 mph across the diamond and showed plus actions on the slow roller play. On the mound, this right-hander has tempo to his delivery. The leg raise is controlled, hands start and stay high and stride is slightly shorter gets across his body. The backside lower half is involved, gets good extension and finish. The arm works out of a natural ¾ slot. The fastball was 74-78 mph, with some sink to the arm side. The breaking ball was 64-66 mph, slurve type break to it and changeup had natural fade to the arm side. A three pitch pitcher, who throws strikes. Projects for me at third base, big durable frame, makes the routine plays and hits from the left side.
