PROCASE

6-foot-2, 180-pound left-handed hitting infielder. Showed soft hands and a solid approach to the ball in the infield. Threw 82 mph across the diamond out of a slightly higher than ¾ slot. The ability to kick to second base or third base is obvious. Ran a 7.6 on the laser, foot speed will have to improve to stay in the middle of the field. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph, adding physical strength is needed for his game. The setup is even with his feet, front foot open to start. The path is flat to the ball, and he gets the barrel there. Needs to stay in the middle of the field with an approach and get stronger to become a good college offensive player. Skill set is solid, he is trending the right way.

Tee Exit Velocity- 83 mph

2017 Future Games

6-foot-2, 180-pound, super athletic frame, shoulders are sloped, has room to fill out and put weight on.  A left-handed hitting middle infielder, projects more as a third baseman at the next level. Played extremely well at the Futures, collecting multiple hits, making hard loud contact. Played the game at a faster pace than what his sixty-yard dash shows, clocked at 7.45, and clocked at 4.50 down the line. In the box, has a smooth left-handed swing, approach is to both gaps, showing to have enough pop to beat the outfielders to the pull side. Defensively, has plenty of arm across the diamond, clocked at 83 mph, plenty of life and flight to throws. Moves extremely well to both sides, made a big time play on slow roller to line, threw across his body to get a speedster down the line. Competed at a very high level, being recruited by multiple division one schools across the country.

Sixty-Yard- 7.45

Exit Velocity-89 MPH

Arm Velocity-83 MPH

3/7/17

6-foot-1, 180-pound, strong physical athletic frame. One of the better players in the class of 2019. The hands and wrists have above average strength to them, physical strength is advanced for his age. A left-handed hitter, feet are inline, slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are set at shoulder height , bat has tilt to it, loaded up and in a good hitting position. The swing is flat through the zone, gets extension out front, stays the through the ball and finishes with one hand above the shoulder. The lower half has improved, it’s on time, lands in the same spot and is balanced. Took two solid rounds of batting practice, line drives to both sides. Defensively, showed soft hands, works slow to the ground, feet were quick and moved throughout. The arm action is short, quick, fast and has above average strength, clocked at 82 mph across the diamond, has plenty of strength from the 6-hole. Double play feeds are clean, hands work with footwork. Finished infield play with a legit barehanded slow roller play. Projects for me as a third baseman, big time follow.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.44

Exit Velocity: 83 mph

Arm Velocity: 82 mph

8/5/16- Future Game Report

6-foot-1, 175-pound, strong athletic frame, shoulders are sloped, well proportioned. A left-handed hitting infielder, projects more as a corner guy. At the plate has a gap to gap approach, the hands are loose and work flat through the zone. The lower half is inconsistent, the front foot doesn't get down on time, in return hands race or lag behind for timing. The strength is there and the swing is flat. The tee exit velocity was 82 mph, with a ton more in there. Times down the line were 4.53 and ran a 7.62 60 yard dash. In game performance, had 2 hits in 7 at bats. The discipline of strike zone and pitch selection is advanced for his age, works and gets deep into counts. Fractured a finger and played through it, extremely tough and loves to compete. Defensively, hands are soft, needs to get ball out front more and keep his feet moving throughout. The arm is an above average tool, clocked at 83 mph across the diamond. Extremely raw, with work can be a big time prospect, I like him as a third baseman.

7/27/16
6-foot-1, 190-pound, strong athletic frame, shoulders sloped, has strength to him, still has room to fill out. A left-handed hitter, the stance is shorter and open, hands are held at shoulder height, has rhythm and movement to them. For timing uses a leg kick and gains ground with stride. The lower half needs to smooth out a bit and be more consistent with leg kick and stride this will help him be on time more. The swing is level, has a gap to gap approach, drives it well to all fields. The tee exit velocity was 81 mph. At times is a little long and goes backwards on contact, needs to let the hands work, plenty of strength in there. In game at bats were good, was patient and worked deep contacts, discipline of the strike zone. Defensively, plays up the middle, the arm is his best tool, clocked at 80 mph across the diamond, has carry and flight to it. The feet need to continue to move when fielding and after the toss, fields close to the body, could get it out front more. Big and strong, accepted an invitation to the Future Games for 2016. High follow for me.
