6/11/17
Physical 5-foot-11 190 pound frame who ran a 8.00 60. Offensively- Even setup with quiet pre-pitch actions, aggressive lower half with good balance. Compact stroke staying inside contact with pull-side results. Overall consistency with contact could improve, exit velocity peaked at 83 MPH. Defensively- Above average accuracy with throws, good footwork with all-around playable actions at the hot corner. Arm was down a touch at 71 MPH but still worked well enough from the left side of the infield.
3/7/17

5-foot-10, 190-pound, strong, physical athletic frame. The wrists and forearms have strength to them. A right-handed hitter, the hands start higher, back elbow gets extended outward. The feet are shoulder width apart, slightly open, the lower half gains ground with the stride and back half is engaged, hands get loaded up, gets to a good starting position.  The swing is down to level, keeps hands inside the baseball, the path is very short to the ball, it’s quick and makes solid contact. The approach is more to the middle of the field to opposite gap. Took two solid rounds of batting practice, one line drive after another. Defensively, worked out at third base, works from the ground up, fields ball out front and hands are soft. The arm was clocked at 74 mph, across the diamond. Moved well to the backhand side, gets low and comes through the ball well, needs to keep feet moving to glove side when starting double play feeds. Showed good strength in his hands at the plate, a move to first base at some point may happen.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.84
Exit Velocity:
83 mph
Arm Velocity:
74 mph
12/4/16
5-foot-10, 190-pound, thick, strong physical frame. The shoulders are squared off, has strength to his hands and wrists. A right-handed hitter, who shows to have some pop in his bat. The stance is slightly open, feet are slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are set above the shoulder, bat starts in a flat position. The swing path is down, to level to up, barrel stays in the zone a long time. The approach is more gap to gap, has some power to the pull side, produces some length and leverage to his swing. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 85 mph, the barrel shows to have whip to it out front, has much more in the tank as well. The sixty yard dash was clocked at 7.9. Defensively, is a corner guy, worked out at third, could very easily move to first. The arm is his best tool on the defensive side, it's clean, short and quick. Shows life and whip out front, clocked at 73 mph with more in there. The feet are ok, works from the ground up, could field ball closer to left side of his body. The double play starts were good, feet moved well, short quick steps. A move to first base would be easy, would have plenty of arm, feet look to be good around the bag. Shows strength with the bat, someone to follow for next year.
