7/18/17

6-foot-1, 185-pound, long, super athletic athlete. The movement and actions are loose, work freely. The frame has room to add weight and mass on. A Bryant University commitment, has all the tools to explode at some point. A left-handed hitter, the stance is  shoulder width, slightly open, hands are loose with pre pitch movement to them. For timing uses a controlled small leg kick, steps into the swing, gains ground with stride foot. The hands and weight stay back, is balanced and in a good position to hit. The swing flat, hands are clean through the zone, finishes the swing off with two hands at shoulder height. The tee exit velocity 86 mph, with more to come as he gets stronger. In game performance was very good, collected two singles and a double. Defensively, arm was clocked at 82 mph, has real good carry and flight to throws, ball comes out of his hand with ease. The routes and angles to baseball are advanced. Look for his game to continue to climb.

Home-First: 4.69

Exit Velocity: 86 MPH

Arm Velocity: 82 MPH

3/7/17

6-foot-1, 160-pound, a long, thin, lengthy athletic frame. Is super athletic, has room to fill out, actions and movements are smooth. The sixty-yard dash was recorded at 7.5. A left-handed hitter, the stance is even, feet are slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are set lower than shoulder height, they have movement and timing to them, during the pre pitch setup. For timing, has a leg kick, gains ground with the stride. The swing is down to level across his chest, finishes the swing with two hands at shoulder height. The approach is more gap to gap, line drives, looks to be a doubles guy down the road. Defensively, can really throw it from outfield, arm was clocked at 80 mph, arm action is long and clean, throws downhill, has plenty of carry to it. The baseball comes out of his hand with ease. The footwork is proper in pre pitch setup. The transfer is clean, steps through and gains ground, has good momentum leading into throws. Strength is a must, solid follow, shows the ability to handle the bat.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.5

Exit Velocity: 80 mph

Arm Velocity: 80 mph

7/27/16
6-foot, 155-pound, extremely athletic frame, neck is long, has plenty of room for development. A left-handed hitter, the stance is slightly open to even, weight is on the back side, the hands are loose and gains ground with stride. The path is level to up, hands work freely through the zone. The tee exit was only 71 mph, has more in there and once he gets stronger will climb significantly. Times down the line were 4.5, it's an easy stride, deer runner. Defensively, is extremely athletic in the outfield, routes and angles are advanced. The arm was clocked at 74 mph, it’s long and clean with a ton more in it. The exchange is clean, steps through hard, gains ground towards target. Throws were on the bag, with good flight and carry. Big time follow for me.
