The hands are held higher, lower half has minimal stride. The hands sink into a loaded position, during foot strike. The swing is level across the chest, hands cast early, catches up out front. The approach is more middle to pull side, line drives to loft. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 83 mph, baseball comes off the bat well. Ran a 4.84 from home to 1st, longer strides. Defensively, threw 69 mph from 3rd to 1st. The arm works from a higher slot, feet moved well to glove side, staying low and through the baseball. Off the mound, higher hand set, builds momentum down the mound, direction is inline, could stay over rubber a tick longer. The arm action has average length, working from a 3/4 slot. The fastball was clocked at 66-69 mph, 2-seamer has action to arm side. The breaking ball was clocked at 55-58 mph, sweeping action at times. The changeup had fade and drop action to it, clocked at 61-63 mph. Strong and physical, continued refinement of all mechanics is essential.
