6-foot-3, 180 pounds, skinny, sloped shoulders, long legs, projectable, should be able to make significant strength gains to upper and lower halves as he enters high school. toolsy and athletic, Pisano showed off good straight line speed with a 4.22 home to first time. Defensively, the arm action is short and quick out of a higher ¾ slot. Clocked at 77 mph across the diamond. There is room for improvement in his footwork. Long-term, may be best suited in an outfield role where he can take advantage of his physical gifts, specifically, center field, where he could cover plenty of ground with his long strides. Pisano is beginning to tap into his power and showed plus pop during batting practice, lacing line drives to the gaps. He is slightly closed off at the plate, with a high elbow and his hands starting right at the letters. There is some wiggle in the bat pre-pitch and a moderate leg kick. Needs to finish his swing and continue accelerating through the point of contact. Posted a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. Still raw at the plate, he will need to begin refining his approach when at bat to make more consistent hard contact in game action. Overall, Pisano has some loud tools for someone who has yet to play high school baseball, and is a big time follow heading into his freshman year.
