8/23/18

5-foot-10, 185-pound, strong, thick athletic frame, back is wide, well proportioned athlete. One of the better left-handers at this event and in the area. Shows to have major feel for pitching. The delivery is repeatable, coil to leg raise, gets squared up on release with good extension. The arm action is clean and loose, works out of a ¾ slot, creates movement to arm side. The fastball is in the low 80’s pitches to both side of the plate, works down with ability to raise eye level. Secondary stuff is advanced, breaker was at 70 mph with depth. The change up is thrown in any count with multiple swings and misses at 74 mph. Controls the running game with ease. Big time follow, will be off the board at some point.

6/27/18

5-foot-10, 185-pound left-handed pitcher and first baseman. Did a nice job at the event, showed very well on the mound. On the mound, the fastball touched 83 mph, plenty of arm side action on the pitch. The spin pitch is a frisbee slider, touching 69. He could add more fastball hand speed to the pitch, making it nasty. The changeup is a work in progress, sitting at 73-74 mph, needs fade to the pitch. The delivery has crossfire to the feet,  ¾ in slot. The tempo is easy and the delivery is repeated. Stands on top of rubber with post foot. Positionally, ran a 7.46 sixty on the laser at the event. Threw 80 mph across the diamond from first base. The glove is excellent and he showed plus feet and feel around the bag. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 79 mph, as physical strength gains are needed. The set up wide in base, uses a knee to knee timing mechanism on the bottom half. Minimal hand load and the path to the ball is long and flat to contact.

Tee Exit Velocity - 79 mph
INF Velocity- 80 mph

Future Games
5-foot-10, 185-pound, average, durable athletic frame. A well proportioned athlete, lower half has strength to it. A left-handed pitcher, performed at an extremely high level, had a dominating outing. The delivery has rhythm and tempo, is on time and gets squared up on release and pounds the zone with three pitches. The leg raise is athletic, with coil to it, arm works out of a ¾ slot, quick whippy action on release. The fastball was pounded down in the zone to both sides, touched 84 mph, sat 80-83 mph. The breaking ball has slurvy break, thrown for a strike and used as a putaway pitch as well, clocked at 69-71 mph, late with depth. The changeup at times might be his best pitch, 70-73 mph, sink and action to arm side with it. The mound poise and pitch ability is well above average. Big follow, one of the better arms in New England.
