Jacob Risedorf: RHP/2B, (2022) Salisbury School, CT. Southern New Hampshire University Commit, 5-foot-11, 175-pound lean athletic build. Athletic and confident during batting practice, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 94 mph. (68.1 mph bat speed average). (21.0 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced wide stance with a wrapping load, then uses a toe tap stride. Bat speed is above average, has a simple short swing plane and good extension on his finish. He created loud contact and found some barrels. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Projectable athletic showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 85 mph; shows a clean natural exchange, soft sure hands, and developing athletic feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.37. Projectable and athletic on the mound, showed a high ¾ arm angle and a loose quick arm action with quick above average arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed athletic balance point with falling off shoulders. Lands closed with recoil finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 85-86 mph; has running action and arm side control. (Max spin 2113; Avg 2026). Showed slurvey action and glove side control on his curveball (71-72). (Max spin 2528; Avg 2423). His changeup (79-82) had gradual fading action and arm side command.
