6-foot-1, 170-pound, longer, lean athletic frame, wiry strength to him. A right-handed hitting outfielder, who worked off the mound as well. At the plate, simple balanced approach, feet are even at shoulder width, hands are relaxed, bat starts in a flat position. The lower half is under control, has no side approach, gets and keeps weight on the backside. The swing is flat and level through the zone, finishes it off with two hands at the shoulders. The contact was hard in BP and in game play, had a tee exit velocity of 84 mph and ran 7.26 sixty -yard dash on wet track. Defensively, arm was clocked at 86 mph from a higher slot, throws were down hill and gave the fielder something to handle. The footwork is correct, steps through hard, gaining ground, showed good routes tracking the baseball. Off the mound, had a solid two pitch mix, fatball was clocked at 80 mph, from a higher slot. The baseball jumps out of his hand, has late life to it. The breaking ball has good tight spin, a top to bottom break. thrown for a strike and used as a put away pitch, clocked at 64 mph, has the hand speed to turn it into a small slider. The athletic ability is above average, strength throughout, look for big things from this one at some point.
