Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 165-pound, average athletic frame, showing good strength throughout for a 2027. A right-handed hitter, starts slightly open, balanced setup. Higher hand set, active, with rhythm. The lower half is under control, small lift, with an even stride. Mechanically sound. The swing is short, a down, to level path, creating backspin and lift to the baseball. The exit velocity was clocked at 81 mph and ran a 4.65 30-yard dash. Defensively, clean prep steps, moves to and through the baseball, could field out front more, gets caught close to body at times. Showed a soft backhand. The arm action is clean, arm was clocked at 71 mph. Off the mound, simple, deliberate delivery. The arm action is longer and clean, working from a natural 3/4 slot. The direction is inline and works down the mound under control. The fastball was clocked at 771-74 mph and mixed in a 65-68 mph, sluvy breaking ball. Showed a change as well. Good looking 2027.

Easton Nankervis: 3B/RHP, (2027) Trumbull, CT. 5-foot-6, 140-pound athletic slim frame. Projectable during batting practice, Nankervis had an exit velocity of 76 mph. (60.5 mph bat speed average). (17.9 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic balanced stance with a tight compact load, then used a short stride. Has a short upward swing plane, average bat speed and high finish. During his round he produced loud contact and found some barrels. Gap to gap line drive approach. Solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 66 mph; has developing feet, a packing exchange, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Had a short arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Projectable on the mound, showed good arm speed, he had a ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Stretch only feel type pitcher and uses easy effort. Showed strong balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 64-66 mph; had sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 1817; Avg 1762). His 1/7 curveball (59-60) has glove side command and slurvey action.
