5-foot-10, 165-pound average athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are squared off, is a well proportioned athlete, legs might be his best toll ran, a 3.99 thirty-yard dash. A left-handed hitter, the feet are wider than shoulder width, slightly closed off stance. The hands are set at shoulder height, are relaxed, bat starts with some tilt to it. For timing, has a controlled easy leg kick, picks foot up and places it straight back down, small coil to hands getting back. The swing is down to level, cuts across it at times, could straighten it out some. The approach is more to the pull side, the hands have strength to them, rolls the hands late, barrel has some whip to it, finishes the swing with two hands. Defensively, from the outfield, fields the ball out front off the proper foot, steps through hard with back and gains ground with his transfer. The arm action is short, clocked at 77 mph, throws were on a line to downhill, ball comes out of his hand. Projects for me as more of a corner outfielder, with the handle the bat.
