Left-handed hitter who got hurt post batting practice and couldn't continue as he could barely walk. The bat has a ton of life in it, tee exit velocity of 92 mph. Sets up with slightly spread out feet, and he leaks to the front foot at contact. The bat has good pull side power to it as he launched some balls out of Holy Cross. The bat path is clean, slightly long as he tries to lift the ball for power. Hard to argue with the amount of bat speed he produces though.
5-foot-10, 185-pound, strong physical frame, shoulders are square and wide, has good strength in his hands. A left-handed hitter who can really swing the bat. Shows to have above average power to pull side, dropped two balls out in BP like nothing and then squared a couple to the opposite gap. The stance is even, slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are loose at shoulder height and have some movement to them. The lower half is a bit jumpy, stride is minimal and straight. The tee exit velocity was 85 mph, with a ton more in there. Times down the line were 4.69. In game swings and at bats were good, got matched up against a few lefties, hit a laser to right and worked count very deep. Defensively, shows soft hands, keeps his feet moving when starting the double play, stands up could stay a bit lower. The arm works out of a slightly higher slot, clocked at 74 mph across the diamond, shows to have some carry to ball. The hands feet work well around the bag, can pick it. High follow for me, squares balls up, is left-handed and strong.
