5-foot-9, 155-pound, smaller, leaner, athletic frame. A right-handed pitcher, committed to Rhode Island College after this event. The delivery is compact, works more with a hybrid windup. The direction is inline, minimal pull of the front glove, athletic finish out front on release. The arm action is clean, works free and easy on the back side. The arm works from a lower slot, has dropped it from the last event. The fastball reached 79 mph with heavy sink and action to the arm side, lived in the bottom part of the zone. The 2-seamer produced multiple weak ground balls. The breaking ball was up to 68 mph, more slider break, late darting action to it. The change up was thrown for strikes, clocked at 70 mph. Look for him to be a ground ball machine out of the bullpen. Offensively, hits from the right side, starts slightly open, hands held higher. The swing is level to up, had a tee exit velocity of 84 mph. The future is off the mound for this one.
Home-First: 4.53

5-foot-8, 160-pound, smaller, wiry strength athletic frame. The shoulders are squared off, back has room for added mass. A two-way player, projects more off the mound for me, pounds the zone with three pitches. The delivery, is controlled, has some drop and drive on the back side, gets good extension out front on release. The arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, creating action to the arm side. The fastball reached reached 79 mph, has more in the tank, arm is super loose and clean from the side view. The changeup is an above average pitch, proper shape and fade to it, clocked at 70-72 mph, works well off his fastball. The breaking ball acts more like a small slider, clocked at 69 mph, late small break to it. Pitched a clean outing, attacks and looks extremely comfortable on the mound, works quick, set times are a 1.0. Defensively from the outfield, arm was clocked at 82 mph, good carry and down hill flight to baseball. First step quickness leading into his routes and angles. At the plate, hits from the right side, very good set up, balanced feet slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are relaxed and bat starts in a strong tilted position. The approach is gap to gap, had a tee exit velocity of 83 mph, hard solid contact. The sixty-yard time was recorded at 7.48 on a lower track. Compets at a very high level, will be good for someone.
