2022 3B Victor Andrade (Uncommitted) had a good day for Lakewood going 2-for-4 with a single and a HR. Showed power to the opposite field for the left-handed batter. Balanced and smooth. Short compact swing. Defensively, Victor was smooth. Feet to the ball. Got rid of the ball quickly.
5-foot-7, 150-pound left-handed hitting third baseman, plays with more strength than his frame would indicate. Starts in a tall, open position with barrel on his shoulder, strides long, dropping hands on load. Barrel works long through the zone allowing him to put barrel on ball even in off-balanced positions, primarily hit to the pull-side, drove the ball routinely.

Currently ranked No. 15 in the PBR Colorado 2022 class. Throws right and bats left. Great hitter. Short stride. Balanced stance. Pull side power as seen with the homerun today over the right field wall. Good hands through the hitting zone. Good range at 3rd base. He can field on either side of him. Great arm across the diamond. Fast. Quick on the bases. Fundamentally sound.
Uncommitted, 2022 prospect out of Lakewood High School. Victor is a rare incoming Freshman playing with his high school team in the summer and did not look out of place. Victor played numerous positions including, Right Field and 3rd Base. In the outfield, he showed good range and route running ability with what looks like could develop into a plus arm. He threw a runner out at home from mid right field in a game against Wheat Ridge HS. At third base, he looks to have good hands and good arm strength throwing across to first. Should continue to improve footwork as he progresses. Victor shows average to slightly above average speed at present and average power at the plate, both of which should continue to develop for him as he grows and fills out his body.
