At 6-foot-7, 245-pounds Tanner shows potential as right-handed hitter. Pull side power with strength, long levers. He also shows potential on the mound and the best is yet to come . Fastball topped out at 80.8 mph. Tanner will be an interesting follow as he develops.

6’7” 215 Pitched exclusively from the stretch. Front foot ahead and slightly closed in setup. High leg lift works to coil and small twist. Tall to Fall delivery with open stride foot. Shortened quick arc on backside to OT/High ¾ release. Attacking effort, Glove side arm extends and creates some rotation in torso. FB 76 Ball has some heavy to it, light sink. CB 60-62 has good feel in zone. Some gradual break. CH 66-67 Good rotation out of hand, minimal movement. Has big body and long levers, good potential as he refines skill sets.

Positional Profile: RHP/1B Body: 6’7” 215 Run: 4.78 Home to 1st Hit: RHH Big Body with Bat Speed!! Shoulder width foundation. Simple up/down stride, with minimal weight transfer to front. Light load of lower and top halves, gets to stacked position. Barrel is parallel to ground at launch. Arm angles maintained in load. Quick attack with hands. Path is “to it and through it” and has long extended finish. For 6’7” and long levers, he creates quick bat. Rear Side acceleration is great and has linear movement through ball. Exit Velo 87 Very Interesting Follow. Must see and evaluate to see how he can fit your program. Power: Definitely has power potential. Arm: 1B Velo: 75 High quick backside with some push. Long levers with good athleticism Defense: Creates good down/up fielding mechanics 6’7”! Long movements with good skill set around the bag. Obviously a great target.
