A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
The highest Edge Score within the given year. Edge Score is a comprehensive score that takes the core-six visual skills into account, providing an assessment of an athlete’s overall visual ability.
The maximum speed, in the direction of home plate, that the wrist is traveling. Measured in meters per second (m/s)
Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
Front side to pivot transitions to waist high leg lift. Coiled with slight twist while in balanced position. Tall to Fall delivery with momentum fall to 1B side. Open toe stride. Positional Profile: OF/RHP Body: 5’9” 150 Run: 7.6 Hit: Tall upright narrow stance, slightly open. Strides into a high leg kick with a neutral finish. Has good rotational acceleration. Strong lower half.Small hand movement on stride. Does a good job keeping barrel in the zone for a long period of time allowing him to hit to all parts of the field. High 2 handed finish. A hitter to follow, advanced swing Exit Velo: 82 Power: gap to gap with potential to hit for power as he matures Arm: Arm Velo 75, Long, over the top arm action. Displays above average accuracy Defense: does a good job running through the ball, has advanced feet with athletic crow hop. Does a good job using his momentum to gain velocity.

Positional Profile: OF/RHP Body: 5’8” 135 Run: 7.91 Hit: RHH. Simple base with slight load to back side and minimal leg lift. Has simplified base from previous showings. Stride tends to open slightly. Created good timing and used rear side acceleration. Arm bar to Load, but not through path. Quick hands and repeatable path. Demonstrated good barrel control. Tendencies were to pull side. Exit velo: 77. Showed nice progressions from previous videos, good growth! Power: Potential with strength added, but would view him as 1B/2B guy. Arm: OF Velo: 73. Arm will improve with strength and long toss. Defense: OF. Good approach and hand eye to the ball. Max effort throws.

5-foot-4, 105-pound right hand hitting OF/RHP who ran an 8.65 60. Balanced at the plate with a slow load on the back side and big leg kick. Hands drop on the swing and path is uphill. Showed bat control to all fields. Exit velocity was 62 mph. In the field he moves well left and right. Showed the ability to field through the ball. Arm played at 65 mph. On the mound he gets to balanced and falls to the plate. Will benefit from a strong lower leg drive. Delivery is from a high ¾ arm slot. Fastball was 65 mph with good command. He added a 54-57 mph Curve with sweeping break and a 54-56 mph Change to finish his session.
