2020 DRAFT: Athletic and strong bodied at 6-foot-1, 195-pound, Torra is a transfer from Cuesta College (CA). He’s a relentless competitor who pitches in the 89-92 mph range with a riding fastball and features both a curve and slider (slider to LHHs, curve to RHHs). He generates a lot of swing/miss with those three main weapons, and he will also throw a rare changeup; it’s a work-in-progress pitch. He also holds his velo well throughout the game, and reaches back for his best when he can smell the finish line. Torra finished the 2020 season 3-0, 0.36 ERA, 25.1 IP, 11 H, 9 BB, 39 SO, .141 OPPAVG.
