The athlete's fastest 60-yard dash time in the given event year. Measured in seconds (s)
7.22
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
83.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.

A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
The maximum speed, in the direction of home plate, that the wrist is traveling. Measured in meters per second (m/s)
Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
Positional Profile: RHP/3B Body: 6-0, 170-pounds. Athletic, proportional frame with room to fill as development continues. Hit: RHH. Relaxed and upright set up. Slight rock into his backside while he gets more engaged with his slower half and beings some side tilt. Hands stay neutral throughout the load but barrel works up into a good launch position. Compact swing with a level path. Head down at contact with good balance staying behind the baseball with a firm front leg. Power: 93.00 max exit velocity, Current gap to gap power, with more potentially on the way as lean mass is added to the frame. Swing type plays for doing damage in the air. Arm: RH. INF - 83.00 mph. Short, quick arm in the IF that has the potential to stick up the middle. The throws were accurate and showed the ability to throw on the run. Defense: Moved around with ease during the defensive workout. Light on feet and fielded balls smoothly in rhythm, very little unnecessary movement. Run: 7.32 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Slower, under control medium-high leg kick that turns into a quick handbreak and move down the mound. Stable back foot and leg allow him to put force into the ground efficiently. Keeps extremities close to body and rotates in a tight window. Arm Action: RH. Short, efficient arm stroke that repeats well and gets up on time. Higher slot that helps induce plus fastball characteristics. FB: T86, 84-85 mph. High ride fastball (23.2" IVB average) that averaged 84.9 MPH. Should successfully garner swings up in the zone at the high school level. CB: 68-71 mph. Slower CB that averaged 6.5"of drop and 4.5" of sweep at 69.6 MPH. Average spin, but showed the ability to create plus horizontal movement (10.9" max). CH: 77-79 mph. 7 mph velocity difference with a 3" difference in induced vertical break gives this pitch some separation from the FB. Could potentially benefit through killing induced vertical break causing sink/fade and thus more of a problem for the hitter.

Body: 5-11, 170-pounds. Athletic build with long limbs. Starting to grow into his frame. Hit: RHH. Feet are straight up in his stance while being pre-engaged with his backside. Lower hanging hands. Very minimal negative move as he uses a quick toe tap trigger. + bat to ball skills with minimal waisted movement. Bat path is flat which allowed him to pepper LDs to all fields. Power: 88 max exit velocity, averaged 88 mph. 88’ max distance. Current size and strength projects more power in the future. 15.8 max rotational acceleration is a positive sign. Arm: RH. INF - 77 mph. Shorter arm action. Showed an increase in arm strength since last fall. 4/6 accurate throws in the defensive workout. Showed ability to throw from different slots and doesn’t need extra steps to get off throws. Defense: Showed decent defensive skills. Got himself in good positions to field the ball but doesn’t play through it to use momentum. Clean funnel allows for fluid exchanges. More comfortable to the forehand side. Run: 7.91 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Repeatable delivery. Uses a higher knee lift as he dips slightly into his backleg and pushed off. Keeps his hips and lower half working towards home. Stays closed longer than last time I saw him which helps give him some hip-shoulder separation. Firmer front leg at finish. Arm Action: RH. Compact arm action but it’s out of a higher ¾ slot. Turns over his upper half at rotation. Present arm speed that accelerates late in the action. CB and CH are thrown out of a lower slot but with consistent arm speeds. FB: T81-83, 81-83 mph. Located around the zone with nothing down the middle. Has some nice ride up in the zone (22.4 average VB). CB: 67-70 mph. Has some slurvy break to it because of the present horizontal break. Good feel for it in the zone. CH: 74-76 mph. Located it down the zone. Has some nice armside fade to it.
10/10/20
Body: 5-11, 155-pounds. Larger athletic frame with present strength Hit: RHH. Slightly open with an even base and lower hand position. Simple and quick forward stride as hands get into a good launch position. Handsy swing that is steep and direct to the ball. Good feel for the barrel especially when he catches the ball more out in front. Showed a middle-oppo approach. Power: 83 mph exit velocity. See quick potential for some gap to gap power with some swing adjustments but the frame and size shows great power projectability. Arm: RH. INF - 71 mph. Short whippy arm action. Made 6/6 accurate throws. Can lower slot when needed. Defense: Showed decent range and glove skills. Good moving to his forehand side and can make throws on the run. Run: 8.15 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Simple delivery as he side steps into medium knee lift. Falls down the mound but doesn't get too extended with the lead leg. Lower body never fully stops so that energy can be transferred up the chain. Opens up front side a little early. Finishes online with home Arm Action: RH. Clean compact arm circle that comes out the 3/4 slot. Plus arm speed for his level. Consistent arm speed on all pitch types. Slots CB at a lower angle. FB: T83, 80-82 mph. Decent ride up in the zone shown with some decent VB numbers CB: 65-66 mph. Some present horizontal spin so it moves more like a slurve. Located mostly in the lower half of the zone. CH: 73-75 mph. Flashed some fading movement at times.
