Athletic, medium frame showing quick feet (7.12 60yd). High hands, balanced setup using a knee tuck to get the quick bat going; high finish showing the ability to create easy lift to the gaps (88 EV). Plays with low hips in the infield moving smoothly through the baseball and being able to push range; showed the skills in game on a top-ball play throwing a strike. Arm is compact and quick playing up at 2nd (75 INF). Skills are there to be a solid middle infielder at next level.
4/16/19
Uncommitted; 5-foot-9, 150-pounds, athletically built with room to grow physically. Makes the routine plays at second base and short but can also make difficult plays look easy with his speed and athleticism. Offensively he is more of a contact hitter and looks to use his speed to put pressure on the defense. Has a big leg kick at the plate, would be able to use legs to generate more power if stride is shortened.
7/18/18
Upperclass Tourney - Athletic medium build, strong lower half. Carries himself and moves around the field, unselfish player with a high baseball IQ. All great shortstops have a demeanor similar to his calm leadership on the field and in the dugout. Hustles everywhere he goes on the field, sees the game ahead of time, great anticipation on defense, in the box and on the bases.
