7/07/21
Body: 5-11, 170-pounds. Athletic and slender. Projectable frame. Potential for gains throughout. Hit: RHH. Quiet low hanging hands in setup. Foot strike is quick, loud, and early as hands pop back into a higher elbow and more vertical bat. Hands work direct to the ball. More of an upper half swing as lower half movement is done early. Showed a miiddle of the field approach. Power: 87.00 max exit velocity. Gap to gap power. Showed above-average bat speed. Has shown pullside flashes of power throughout this past HS season. Arm: RH. INF - 71.00 mph. Wristy short arm action that compares to Chase Utley. Gets to release quickly. Can lower slot if needed. 4/5 accurate throws during the workout. Defense: Good feet with controlled movements. Stays low to the ball and fields with good rhythm. Quick out the glove with exchanges. Run: 7.25 runner in the 60.
10/10/20
Body: 5-11, 160-pounds. Long and lean frame with some present strength, Hit: RHH. Straight up with an even base in stance. Uses a smaller leg raise trigger that starts his move forward. Strong compact stroke that works on an uphill path. Gets hands into a good launch position to work up towards the ball. Gets foot down early and lets the hands work. Showed ability to use the whole field. Power: 93 mph exit velocity. Current gap to gap power, Bat speed average of 72mph and rotational acceleration average of 18gs show a good projectable power ceiling. Arm: INF - 70 mph. Shorter arm action where he sort of flicks it with a lower elbow release which hurts velo. 5/6 accurate throws. At times showed an ability to get throws off on the run. Defense: Fielded everything centered and out in front. Light on his feet. Took good angles and showed decent range. Run: 7.21 runner in the 60.
9/23/18 - Rising Stars Showcase - Five-foot-9, 140-pounds, medium, long and lean frame with large feet, squared shoulders and wiry strength throughout the body. Stull shows some present pull side pop with a middle approach with consistent barrel contact. Present strength is average but projectable given his frame. Starting from an upright, slightly open, narrow stance, Stull drops hands into load position before using a short stride to drive hands and back hip into ball. Defensively Stull shows fluid footwork and above average range with an understanding of angles and hops and the athleticism to get to the ball in ready position. Hands are quick with clean exchanges and has enough arm strength to make throws from multiple angles with some accuracy.
