Boras Classic 3/28/18 - USC signee. Saw a few games at Boras Classic. Strong 6-foot-0 170-pounder, proportionate frame to grow into. Athletic behind the plate with infielder’s characteristics in the hands and feet. Biggest upside for him is he has a tall, wide shoulder frame to grow into. Pop time to 2nd base is consistent between 2.2 and 2.25 seconds. Not been a catcher for a long time but you'd never guess that. High percentage contact hitter that uses all fields and is comfortable with two strikes. Athlete with versatility and high level of talent that plays all over the field. Runs well, throws well, hits well, tools are present and down the road in college there is going to be pro interest.
