The athlete's fastest 60-yard dash time in the given event year. Measured in seconds (s)
6.95
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
82.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Positional Profile: SS/RHP Body: 5-foot-11, 145-pounds. Thin and wiry strong on a lithe frame. Defense: Clean footwork, sets up in position well to get off throws, soft hands, quality defensive tools w/fair range potential. Arm: RH. INF - 82 mph. Long circular arm action, flips under a bit on backside, loose arm, more of an OF arm action. Hit: RHH. Bent at knees, balanced, squared feet, hands shoulder height over back knee, knee lift to hands load. Medium online stride, steepish swing plane, maintains balance throughout the swing, top hand finishes, creates leverage against front side. Power: 79 mph exit velocity in cage front toss session. Run: 6.95 runner in the 60.
Delivery: All stretch, hands move up as knee gets to mid-section height, moves smooth and controlled down and out along slope, some hip explosion off the rubber. Arm Action: RH. Long circular backside with some full-ish extension, high-3/4, loose and quick arm. FB: T81, 79-80 mph. Can take off with life, run and ride up in zone. CB: 69-71 mph. Smooth break, lacked depth, has control. SPLT: 65-68 mph. Tumbling action late in zone.

Central Valley Preseason ID: Max FB 80, FB 78-79, CB 67-68, CHG 67-68 Tall lithe, slight build on 5-foot-11, 145-pound body, has some quick twitch and natural arm speed which should continue to help along the velocity if/when he gains some more musculariture. Good rhythm with delivery, consistently on line with lower body. Slot is a bit more overhand than perhaps should be as he has some significant head action to allow the arm up to that slot. Long backside and loose arm. Not much power generated by his backside, indicating most of the velocity is generated from raw arm speed. Some sneakiness to his fastballs. Spike curveball with solid spin and action through the zone. Change-up with pronounced width between index and middle finger, like a modified split-finger fastball. There are some mechanical adjustments and physical gains to make, and with his looseness and arm speed, there could be a significant velocity spike in his future.
INF/BATTING
7.13 60yd, 80 INF MPH, 77 EV
5-11, 140 long and wiry strong frame with lots of space for added girth. Balanced stance with hands at the back shoulder and slight foot lift; slow load with hands working directly back maintaining posture through turns. Barrel is level through the zone with quick turns showing a full, two-handed finish; was able to stay behind the ball making consistent contact out front and able to backspin balls into the pull gaps. Compact feet staying in balance and motion through the baseball as the glove funnels deep by the body; full long and loose arm swing shows strength and times where he cuts the ball to first. Can play with a bit more aggression in the infield allowing the ball to come to him. Projectable frame that with added girth/strength could make a jump.
