2/12/19 - Uncommitted, big body type, played 1st base in this game, first game of year vs Redwood HS, collected a couple of hits, flipping a ball into left and one into shallow right center. Hands work well, has bat control, strength and power could show with more of understanding of how to pick spots, there is some innate strength and barrel awareness that could play. Solid glove at 1st base, fair arm, lumbering runner but that's not part of his game. Hit tool looks to be present and now it's a question of whether there is power that will come along.

1/13/19 Central Valley Preseason ID - Strong, large frame with squared shoulders and defined strength in upper half; thick core can be tightened to improve the profile. Heavy runner uses long stride (8.34 60-yd dash). Wide, slightly crouched base with even wide hands; hands load towards back shoulder and down as he rocks weight back. Average hand speed with a level swing that finishes around shoulders; best swings utilize his legs and works when lower half in time with weight transfer through the ball (85 exit velo). Short controlled feet moves well for size at 1st; able to get low with hips. Short arm with limited life (68 mph).

7/19/18 - Upperclass tourney - Good overall player. Good defense at 1st, but could use some more improvements. On offense he is very smooth and good with the bat. Reads the off-speeds very well and can react to it. Good eye from the box. Runs everything out regardless of the hit.
