BAWS 2019 - Medium frame, lean muscle with squared up shoulders; projectable build still has some space for more strength (7.34 60yd). Wide, slightly bent knees with tall posture keeping bat vertical away from body with high back elbow; soft front foot with deeper load of hands. Good usage of his lower half with some quick turns and keeping hands tight to the body; level swing able to show some feel for the barrel as he sprayed line drives through the middle of the field (79 EV). Showed patience at the plate during the games working deep counts and taking multiple walks. Loose and fluid in OF with athletic actions and ability to move through the baseball. Quick arm moving quickly with strong finish over his front leg (87 MPH); have not seen him pitch, but could possible fit on the mound with the actions arm has.
11/11/18 - CBA Sacramento tryout - Lean and wiry, athletic 5-foot-11 160-pounds, well proportioned, good tryout for him, strong young man, simple swing, good balance, tall set-up, works inside ball, good backside hip action, keeps back elbow with back hip, can shoot/drive it to all fields, ready on-time and appeared to see it well, 83 mph exit velocity, gap to gap line drive type, calm and confident presence, defensively showed off good arm, accurate strikes on the bag, good footwork and efficient to it, 78 mph outfield throw velocity, shorter arm action allows him to get rid of the ball quickly, chance to impact the running game with his outfield tools.
