Positional Profile: LHP/OF 3 pitch mix LHP who shows starters profile with intriguing ceiling
Body: 6-0, 185-pounds. Medium frame with present strength in lower half and emerging strength to upper body with room to fill
Delivery: Features a belt to belly button high knee lift with small upward move in hands. Stays tall on his backside as he works down the mound with the front side into foot strike. Uses lower half effectively while showing ability to block on the lead leg and stay online through his delivery.
Arm Action: LH. Shorter arm stroke in the backswing coming down to about belt height before working backwards with quickness to the arm in delivery. Works from a 3/4 slot with a whippy like looseness that features minimal recoil after release.
FB: Arm path hides ball well which allows his FB to play above even its solid present velocity. Can ride it through the top of the zone avg. 18.9" of IVB and gets run when down in the zone at nearly 13" of horizontal run. Spin rate plays better to a bottom of the zone FB which works well with his SLD/CHG combo.
SL: SLD flashes above average presently with almost 13" of horizontal movement tunneling well on the east/west plane with his FB. Break is sharp and late with spin rates approaching 2500+ RPMs
CH: CHG is deceptive with his ability to execute the pitch from a FB arm speed delivery while showing some feel to kill spin for depth but getting nearly similar movement patterns to his FB.
Positional Profile: LHP/OF Allman has a competitive arsenal from the left side.
Body: 6-0, 180-pounds. Compact frame with strength throughout.
Delivery: Slower leg kick, keeps front side closed down the hill. Shorter stride.
Arm Action: LH. Short arm action.
FB: T86, 85-86 mph. FB has plenty of armside run. Spots outer half against RHH. T2020, 1979 average rpm.
SL: 74-78 mph. Subtle movement, Horizontal profile. T2454, 2080 average rpm.
CH: 80-81 mph. Good fade on CH. Tunnels with FB. T1802, 1774 average rpm.
