10/27-10/29/18 - Fall tournament - USF commit;5-foot-11, 170-pounds w/medium frame with length in legs; lean build having wiry strength and space to continue to project. Compact and quick bat that shows gap power currently with deep line drives in game and showing athleticism (4.72T); stand up triple on rocket to left-centerfield wall. Patient hitter (showed up consistently in looks different scouts) who doesn’t chase while showing barrel that can jump on mistakes. Catching skills are very strong with subtle glove movements and a low target that’s quiet, though does tend to reach a bit. Average arm with quick release showed small arm side on the bag regularly (2.0-2.1 Pop); clean footwork projects a decrease in pop time as he continues to strengthen arm.
5/22/18 - Evaluation during NCS 1st round playoff game; Average lanky athletic body type with long arms, played well on the move, good middle infielder actions, slashing type of swing that happens easily.
