10/16/21
Positional Profile: C/OF Body: 5-11, 170-pounds. Athletic body type with lean strength, room in upper body frame for size gains. Hit: RHH. Open stance, balanced weight in a crouch, stacked with hands starting back ofer back knee, medium depth load, small toe touch out to small stride. Defense: 2.05-2.18 pop times. Athletic receiver with agility and athleticism, high level receiver and worker, worked well with pitchers, blocks at high level, strongest part of his game are his catcher skills. Run: 7.25 runner in the 60.
7/16/21
Body: 5-11, 175-pounds. Compact upper body but leaner throughout. Longer arms. Hit: RHH. Is slightly open with wider set feet and hands pushed away from his body in stance. Slower gather into backside as he uses a smaller leg lift trigger. Longer wrappy swing that works on a level stroke (58.3% LD percentage). Consistent contact point out in front. More pull side approach but at times flashed some RC gap feel. Power: 88 max exit velocity. Flashed some gap to gap power in BP. Blast metrics show potential for growth in bat speed and rotational acceleration which should help out power. Arm: RH. C - 71 mph. Loose arm action. Would open up front side early at times which would have throwdowns sail on him. 3/5 accurate throwdowns during the workout. Defense: 2.07-2.12 pop times. Athletic crouch. During throwdowns would hop out of his crouch. Quick feet. In game action, he would set up in many different crouches. Would stay below the ball and work up helping him steal low strikes. 6/22/21

N CA Underclass Games
Body: 5-foot-9, 160-pounds. Lean, average athletic build, well-proportioned, has frame to fill out Hit: RHH. Athletic and balanced set-up with slight knee crouch, big knee lift pushing his weight back over back foot, aggressive stride closed off slightly at foot strike which can create some inconsistencies in barrel control on pitches not exactly where he wants them, athletic throughout the swing and has confidence. There is some pronounced barrel wrap behind his head in the loading process which can create some length and timing challenges. Lively swing and plenty to like here as he develops. Power: 78 mph EV off tee Arm: Catcher velo - 68 mph - Inconsistent accuracy to the bag but flashed a throw or two where you can see the chance to develop into quality C/T player. Footwork can clean up where not moving as far toward RHH box as he replaces his feet, which affects length of the delivery as well as energy of the throw. Defense: 2.19-2.29 Pop-times - See notes in the arm section for C/T mechanics. Common theme of his athleticism showed up as well in catching, agility is there, quick feet, block effort for BIDs was outstanding, can clean up some of the technique and mechanics such as his base in the crouch. Sits a bit high which can limit the ability to work below the ball. There is raw talent and tools that will be smoothed out as he develops. Run: 7.68 60-yard
