3/1/19 - The uncommitted 6-foot-2, 175 senior showed a lot of moxie on the mound in the way he kept hitters off balance with a three-pitch (FB/CB/CH) mix that he was able to locate down in the zone. Worked in, middle, and out with aplomb. The frame is long with wiry strength throughout. Arm appears quick in-part to a deliberate delivery while the ball gets on hitters in a hurry making his velo play up a tick or two. There doesn’t appear to be a lot of effort to the arm action from his 3/4 slot that he repeats. The deliberate delivery and his knack for hiding the ball at the hip adds to his deception. At the plate he showed an athletic setup while looking to drive the ball into the gaps.
