6/1/18-6/3/18 @ BAWS 2018 - Body type remains as described in previous report. High back elbow with leg lift timing where he lowers hands; line drive swing showing pull side approach. Athletic runner showing ability to get to ball while keeping hands away from body; average arm showing life on throws across diamond and ability to keep ball in spot for 1st base to make play. Average runner showing better underway than initial burst; 4.88 Home-1^st. On mound simple delivery with slight lean in shoulders before getting strong drive and extension down hill; quick, compact arm with 3/4 release. Fastball 81-84 mph with angle and cut going glove side. Curveball 73-74 mph with 12/5 action, showing late short bite with occasional 2-plane depth in that pitch. Times where fastball can lose control and run into hitter based on timing of delivery and possible wrist angle.

10/28/17 - Wiry and twitchy 5-foot-9 145-pounds, really quick arm, hitters came back shaking their heads about how his stuff jumped on them, 83-85 fastball, slider 74, changeup 71, good fielder at shortstop and if you didn't know he was a pitcher you'd like him as a position player, has some promise with bat too, reminds me of another Watsonville smaller P/INF Chris Rivera, now at Long Beach State.
