6/1/18-6/3/18 @ BAWS 2018 - Strong build, good proportionality. Balanced stance with even hands and flat bat; keeps hands tight with very quick turn through the zone for line drive stroke to all parts of field. Showed ability to bunt for a hit and to keep hands tight and drive ball for extra bases. Athletic in field showing slightly above average range; arm plays better when on the move and accurate. Better runner underway where he uses athleticism to get down line; 3.78 Bunt, 4.63-4.85 H-1st. Player no matter if in the field or at the plate. Barrel seems to routinely meet the ball.
4/5/18 - Uncommitted infielder continues to impress each time I see him hit. Didn't start in this game but had one of most impressive ABs of the day as team trailed in top of 7. Got down in count early and eventually got his pitch, which was lined to 2nd baseman to end the game, but it was hit on the screws. Always seems to be gap to gap and on the barrel. Quality hitter just waiting to get his chance to start at varsity level in 2019. He's one to be aware of.
Bay Area World Series 6/24-26/2017 - Solid, athletic, and sturdy 5-foot-11 170-pound build, played and performed really well, aggressive hitter, good looking swing, hands really work and uses lower body quite well, showed batting practice and game power (HR) that can only come from his bat speed and use of his lower half because he's not a big kid, good zone awareness, and consistently hard contact in games, good infield hands, arm works, release can quicken with fewer steps to throw, played the game with good energy and hustle.
