v Soledad - Butte College commit. Wide large frame with a high waist and strong upper half; solidly built. Showed very compact arm coming out of his ear with a M 3/4 release. Attacked with FB (77-80 MPH) to both sides with bouts of cut to the glove side. Showed very good feel for his SLD (65-67 MPH) with ability to throw it in any count and both sides of the plate. Flashed some back foot ability against RHH and 1/7 shape with short actions. Also utilized a CHG (71-72 MPH) turning pitch over for run to the arm-side. Injured hits foot/ankle hitting 1st in the 2nd inning but battled through it going 4.1 innings striking out 7, walking 2 and giving up 3 hits and 0 runs.

Big framed 6-foot-2 220-pounds, strong young player, showed well as a 2-way player and at this time it's undetermined which he will do beyond high school, showed lots of strength with the bat and HARD barrel contact in middle and to pull-side, aggressive nature as a hitter, throws well as a 1st baseman with soft hands, can stand to get rid of ball quicker and certainly better agility/footwork will aide in that department, on the mound he's also got a shot, velocities stayed same on back to back days, curveball has good velocity and bite, threw it well to both sides of the plate, good mound presence, short repeatable arm action.
