6/10/19: A long and lean 6-foot-4, 175 pound body produced a ton of swing/miss on both his fastball and slider through his two innings of work, while striking out five (4 IP, 10 strikeouts so far this summer). Taylor throws from a sidearm slot and across his body, while standing on the 3rd base side of the rubber. He creates angles, deception, and makes hitters visibly uncomfortable in the box against him. Although his fastball sat from 86-88, the ability to command the zone with his plus slider and fastball with heavy arm side movement. His slider has late break laterally and plays off his fastball, starting both pitches in the middle of the plate and letting them work from there. These factors make him an intriguing prospect for a backend bullpen role. (DeGagne)
