San Jose State commit. Physical body, built like a halfback, wonder if he's a bit too physical in his build and taking away some of the natural athleticism he possesses. Power showed up in the BP rounds and he has plus bat speed, barrel tended to be too 'in and out' of the zone and was long at times with a wristy/handsy swing. Body stayed behind the ball well but he let's the barrel get ahead of his hands. There are plenty of hitting tools that can be refined and his aggressiveness is good, just would like to see more barrel control so his raw tools can be usable more consistently. Defensively the ball left his hand well, with a long arm outfield release and projects to have an above average arm on a pro scale.

San Jose State commit. Strong physical athlete body type, particularly in the upper body. Played centerfield in this game vs Jesuit HS, showed outstanding range/angles and fearlessness tracking balls to the wall, can work to get better jumps, strong arm, easy exit out of his hand, projects to have at least average arm on pro scale. Offensively showed good hand path and hammered change-up, aggressive player and at times like a football player approach at the plate when letting natural strength and hand speed work for him and be more under control. Fun to watch though, has a chance to positively impact a game at bat, on bases, and in the field.
