A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average

Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
Offensive notes: Tall posture, high hands, high back elbow with sink in the back hip. Hits on back hip working barrel on upwards path. Lifted the ball to the pullside during BP and chance for some more distance that way as he matures. Large frame with lanky build and current strength. 60-yard - 7.43 / EV mph - 86
Defensive notes: High hips on fielding allowing shallow arm to work to over-the-top release. Uses frame for infielders and able to get it to the target.

Body: 6-3, 175-pounds. Very large, squared frame with plenty of room for filling in and continuing to grow. Hit: LHH. Tall with high hands and high back elbow; slow and early load has hands work down and back. Stays on backside with firm front leg. Into zone deep while finishing upwards high over front shoulder. Handspeed takes over and showed he could line ball hard over MIF heads. 72.1 Max Batspeed, 21.1 Max Handspeed, 11.7 gs Max Rotational Acceleration. Power: 87.60 mph exit velocity. Arm: RH. INF - 73.00 mph. Short wristy arm action, especially on DPs. All accurate throws in the workout. Defense: Average defensive actions and glove skills. Good footwork around the bag. Run: 7.47 runner in the 60.
Delivery: High front knee tuck, before landing with soft bend in front knee. Stopped the hip well; better finish/carry on pitches when he got over the front leg on finish. Ball was hidden until the very end. Arm Action: RH. High over the top release, easy action with deception in ability to pick it up. FB: T79.8, 77-79 mph. Firm in the zone using both glove and arm side. Can get to good vertical break (20.9 Max) and more coming CB: 59-63 mph. More horizontal then vertical action with similar release height as FB. Depth occurring at the plate. SL: 63-66 mph. Blends closely with the CB having similar horizontal break and release height.

Positional Profile: 3B/1B/RHP Body: 6-3, 170-pounds. From 10/10/20, no change; Lanky body, still growing into a frame that projects very favorably for future size/strength, sturdy lower half. Hit: LHH. Tall, slight open stance, pronounced high elbow, weight starts over backside and stays there, closed stride. Wristy handsy swing with pull side approach, unique stroke though displayed ability to make repeated and hard barrel contact, raw tools to develop real power; 15.3 max rotational acceleration (10.84 avg), 40% LDs. Power: 90 mph exit velocity in live BP via TrackMan. 24.2 max hand speed (22.44 avg), 70.2 max bat speed (67.91 avg). Arm: RH. INF - 80 mph. Smooth easy arm action, compact on backside, ball comes out easy, shows carry and arm that will profile at 3B. Run: 7.26 in the 60.
Delivery: Loose and smooth, gathers with coordination over rubber, in line stride, lands firm with closed foot, stable repeatable delivery. Arm Action: RH. Overhand slot, quick loose arm, long backside with some depth and near full extension, loose wrist, projectable arm for considerable velocity gains as he ages. FB: T81, 79-80 mph. Fair life through zone, mostly straight with feel for zone, looks to be a FB that can be used in upper quadrants as spin increases. CB: 58-60 mph. Feel for tumbling 12/6 type CB, not a hard breaker yet but has bottom out depth in the zone. SL: 65-66 mph. Smoother break, around the zone, enough late wrinkle to project development as SL to start bats, occasionally tilty depth. CH: 65-67 mph. Traditional straight change, consistency of release point and feel for bottom of zone is still developing.
10/10/20
Positional Profile: RHP Body: 6-3, 170-pounds. Lanky body, still growing into a frame that projects very favorably for future size/strength, sturdy lower half. Delivery: Repeatable mechanics, wide rocker step, pinch tuck knee lift to gather core energy, in-line stride, stable landing w/upper body finishing over stride leg. Arm Action: RH. Compact arm stroke w/circular action getting to overhand slot, loose arm, velocity with this easy arm action is a strong positive. FB: T79, 77-78 mph. Arm strength type FB, fair movement, showed some length through zone, some inconsistency with control. CB: 57-62 mph. Showed feel, smooth 11/6 type break, some two plane break. SL: 63-69 mph. Similar bite to CB w/more velocity and less depth, like the CB showed feel with SL. CH: 61-64 mph. Quite similar look to FB, similar release points/heights, can start bats in FB counts.
Hit: LHH. Tall with slight open feet, neutral width, high back elbow, medium depth in box, closes stride, lean back weight transfer. Pull-side oriented approach with aggressively upward attack angle, found barrel repeatedly, projects to have some loft power, 66.7% fly balls, 39% on plane. Power: 86 mph exit velocity in live BP via TrackMan. Max hand speed 25 (avg 23.6), max bat speed 71.8 (68 avg). Arm: RH. 1B - 72 mph. Compact arm action, accurate snap throws to 2nd base, confident in his arm. Defense: Came off bag well, quiet clean footwork while working the bag, soft hands, understands angles for feeds to 2nd base, looks like a future highly competent defensive player. Run: 7.43 runner in the 60.
