Arm Action: short arm path, rea ches back and goes. Higher release angle for a lefty. FB: T88.6 mph, 86.6 - 88.0 mph range, 1734 avg spin; Good sense of control on the FB, works in and out, up and down effectively. Tail allows him to get batters chasing on FB a couple inches off the plate. SL: 78.6 mph, 2247 avg spin; Gets horizontal and vertical movement on the SL, in game, he threw it for a strike while also showing the ability to get it below the zone and backfoot to RHH. Area Code Underclass tryout - One of most impressive underclass performers and looks to be one of top 2024 LHP in the state; strong build, fairly mature body for rising sophomore, Johan Santana comp in terms of the repertoire and his ability to manipulate the ball, carved hitters, FB 83-86, occasional hard run, can turn it over, fair control but that can improve, CB 67-73 with steep tumble, pronates CHG w/lots of tail 74-75, SL 77.
