Positional Profile: 2B/SS Physical: 5-7, 125-pounds; Lean, wiry build. 7.82 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Drifts into contact while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 80 MPH via Trackman. Heavy % of flyballs while keeping swing consistently on-plane which illuminates his approach to put ball in the air, has balance in box with a stable base, hands work well to and through the ball. Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are out in front with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 66 MPH. Well-rounded footwork and glove-work skills, smooth through reception to release, angles are clean, steady defender with feel for the glove.
