Hit: Wider straight up stance with slight engagement in backside. Barrel is pre-tipped. Trigger is a quick gather into the backside with front foot. Barrel works into a better hitting position. Compact level stroke (50% LDs) that is slightly cut off at finish. Worked middle of the field throughout round. Had a nice LD over the second baseman’s head in game action.
Power: Blast metrics show real good power potential with 73.9 mph max bat speed and 31.4 gs average rotational acceleration. 96 mph max exit velo.
Field: Solid approach to the ball. Fields low and off left leg. Showed decent range. Made a nice play ranging into the gap from right to make a catch.

Monterey Bay Winter Hitting Update:
High hands in squatted stance with high back elbow. Toe tap with bigger load produces easy lift and shows quick hands speed allowing barrel to be strong and consistent. When he stays tight the swing is able to shorten barrel arc for damage.
