5/27/19

NCA UCID - Long and lean frame including long limbs and tight waist; space in frame to add strength and bulk. Long stride with controlled effort and full body runner using make up speed once underway (7.60 60yd). Wide, balance stance with even hands and high back elbow. Compact swing gets on plane early showing slight upwards path from tight turns flashing some growing bat speed. Line drives from gap-to-gap with flashes of carry and backspin to oppo gap. Used compact swing with steeper hand path during EV testing (82 EV) putting balls level into middle of field. Flashes of athleticism in OF with ability to move through the ball. Mid slot arm action with some run to bases keeping the ball on the bag (74 MPH). Raw player flashing some tools that can continue to progress.

10/7/18 - Central Coast Open - 5-foot-11, 150-pounds, lanky body type with projectable frame and proportions. Flashed as average runner during 60 yd dash and should be faster as he gains strength. Offensively utilized a tall narrow stance with toe tap while keeping even hands. The bat works directly to the ball flashing quick bat speed with the ability to barrel balls and create backspin to the pull side gap (77 MPH exit speed). From the outfield he showed a loose, wider arm that has some length on the backside (71 MPH). Arm showed flashes of carry when it worked in time with the body, but can continue to work on pulling through the ball to create less arch on throws.
