2/28/19 - The medium frame is lean and built for speed with strength in the lower half. At the plate, he stands open and relaxed keeping low hands with a slight crouch. The hands work back and up on foot lift showing a flat, quick bat with the ability to stay to the middle of the field. Once on base, he's a nightmare for opposing teams with an explosive first step and the ability to take bags as he pleases. That speed shows up all over the field with the ability to show plus range in CF with a very quick first step. The arm is of average strength out in CF with it playing up because of his ability to get rid of it quickly. Dixon's ability to track down would be base-hits is something every pitcher wants. He came in late during the game against Valley Christian as a base-runner, proceeding to steal 3rd and set up the eventual winning run. Let's hope the wrist is fine for the long term because Dixon is an electric player.

7/15/18 - Dixon is finally fully healthy and looking like the player we projected him to be as freshman. An electric athlete with a big outfield arm, Dixon appears to have worked out some flaws with his bat too. Really exciting player.

4/3/18 - 4/6/18 - Very quiet pre-pitch with no movement in a squared-crouch. Direct path to the ball keeping hands in tight. Ran into a grand slam on an elevated fastball. The speed is elite when he wants to use it with sub-4.1 time to 1st. Game-changing capabilities in the outfield with his speed and strong arm.

2/17/18 - USC commit. 6-foot, 175-pound frame. Pure athlete.  Chiseled, muscular body type with big time projection.  Has been battling lower half injuries for a year and just getting back to 100% now.  Dixon has lead off type speed that a premier base runner displays.  He’s electric when he is on base and can swipe bags anytime he wants.  Base running is his carry tool. Dixon shows an aggressive approach at the plate and currently displays gap to gap power.  He is an elite defender that can track balls in the gap with his closing speed. Dixon has an accurate, above average arm tool with proper arm action with carry.  He went 1 for 7 with 2 runs, HBP and 2 punch-outs in the double header Vs, Corona Santiago.
