Body: 6-2, 205-pounds. Has added some mass since last viewing last summer. Stronger more filled out upper-half. Projectable body that can add some athleticism. Hit: RHH. Slightly open stance with a turned in front foot. Starts load early. Slow gather that uses a mild leg kick trigger. Let's the ball get deep with a bat path that is on the steeper side. Hands/barrel worked inside out and tight to body in BP. Showed ability to change posture according to pitch height/location. Middle-oppo approach throughout the round. Power: 88.00 max exit velocity. Some present gap to gap power when he catches the ball out in front. Arm: RH. INF - 75.00 mph. Shorter arm action in the back. Lower elbow at release. Took time to get to release. 5/6 accurate throws. Average arm strength. Defense: Solid fundamentals. Displayed glove early and caught out in front with a funnel up to belt. Correct footwork that lacked overall quickness. Projects to a corner INF spot.

CA STATE GAMES:
Positional Profile: 3B/P Body: 6-2, 185-pounds. Tall and lean build with a medium frame Hit: RHH. Sets up with an upright upper body with slight bend at knees. Slow gather with a simple stride. Quick compact stroke with a flat-uphill path. Middle of the field approach. Power: 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Will fill the gaps once in a while. Power is still developing Arm: RH. INF - 74 mph. Short circular arm action. Took time out of the glove. Throws flashed some carry and were on target, Defense: Fields everything out in front. Good lateral movement especially to the glove side. Overall clean footwork. Run: 7.71 runner in the 60.
PITCHING Delivery: High knee lift. Syncs his drop in his back leg with his glove separation. Finishes falling off to the first base side of the mound. Arm Action: RH. Circular and compact arm circle and comes out of the ¾ slot. Hides the ball well behind his body for deception. Repeatable and consistent arm slots. FB: T77 mph. 2200-2300 spin which is high for his velo. Worked the corners and didn’t leave much middle. CB: 72-74 mph. Present side spin. Moves more like a slider. Good control of the pitch. Induced weak contact when thrown low in the zone.
9/21/19
Uncommitted - Six-foot-2, 165-pounds. Large frame with a high waist, long limbs, large feet and projectable build. Showed good footwork on the dirt where his range is fair to both sides while under control of his body. Hands were soft while funnelling out front with enough arm strength to make throws from multiple angles. Starts tall at plate before shifting back then through the swing plane. Maintains barrel on plane and uses his fast hands/present bat speed to drive balls into the gaps. Has some lift to his swing creating backspin on the ball. Showed an uncanny knack for getting the barrel on everything throughout the day. On the mound he showed a drop-and-drive delivery with a high leg kick and compact arm path in the back through to a high 3/4 arm slot. The leg kick and compact arm hides the ball from hitters very well. Fastball shows some arm side run that he generates excellent downhill plane with. Showed very good command of the pitch by painting the black on both sides of the plate. Threw a knuckle-curve that flashes plus potential with its sharp break and depth. Changeup showed well with its late fading action to the back foot of righties. Pitch shows signs of being a future out pitch as it was never above the knees.
8/17/19
PBR CA STATE GAMES - High waisted, lanky, lean build. Showed good feet and growing arm strength at 3rd base with ability to make plays in his range. Swing had some length, but when on time showed strength to the pullside picking up a hit that way. On the hill went two clean innings with 1 K. Hands stay wide from stretch only delivery using high kick and having hands break over knee with full swing to H-3/4 release getting strong extension down hill. FB 71-73 moving ball around with angle to the gloveside showing run armside mainly pitching to contact. CB 62-69 blending between 10/4-to-11/5 having late short bottom through the zone; when blending to 10/4 shape had more frisbee spin.
