A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
Body: 5-10, 195-pounds. Medium size. Sturdy build. Strength throughout. Can cut. Delivery: Exclusive from the stretch. Knee tuck that is up-down then down the mound. Glove taps before drifting forward. Athletic delivery moving hard down the mound with a good length stride. Establishes direction with glove. Level shoulders. Works in-line. Firm and straight landing leg. Arm Action: LH. Has shortened up arm action since last event. Still with a slight stab but draws it from a higher positioning. Higher effort with present armspeed. Consistent slots and armspeed on all pitch types. Released out of the H 3/4 slot. FB: T81, 80-81 mph. Showed good command to all quadrants. Good extension which increases perceived velo. Decent spin at around 2,200 rpm. CB: 71-72 mph. Lower spin breaker. Slurvy break due to present HB of 8 inches. Used more of a chase pitch. Produced whiffs and weak contact. CH: 73-74 mph. Late fading CH. Consistent armspeed. Worked well off the FB. Produced early out front swings.

Body: 5-10, 190-pounds. Sturdy medium frame with present strength throughout. Hit: LHH. Has a straight up even base with an upright upper body and higher hand set up. Short forward stride while hands slightly move back with some slight internal rotation. Flat compact stroke that is in the zone a long time (85% on plane efficiency). Contact is out in front and extended throughout. Pull side approach. Power: 90 mph exit velocity. Some present pullside power is there. Rotational acceleration average of 17 gs and max of 22 gs show potential for a decent power ceiling. Arm: LH. INF - 77 mph. Short and quick arm action that is quick to release especially on DPs. All throws were accurate in his defensive workout. Defense: Real good feet and glove skills for his build. Showed soft hands and light quick feet that gave him good range. Was also good around the bag. Run: 8.32 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Side steps into a higher knee tuck into his back leg. As leg comes down and moves slightly forward he then drops into his back leg and really pushes off the rubber. Uses a really big stride that gives him good extension. Firms up his front leg at landing but rear leg really swings through. Arm Action: LH. Long and loose arm action. Arm is brought down near the leg in the bag and comes up all the way through to release at the H 3/4 slot. Whippy arm late in the action. Consistent arm speeds on all pitches but secondary pitches are out of a lower slot. FB: T82, 79-81 mph. Extension gives it good deceptive life combined with spin rate average at around 2200 rpm. SL: 70-72 mph. Minimal VB and showed ability to consistently throw it for strikes. CH: 73-74 mph. Was also able to throw it for strikes and had late fading armside action.
