Scout Ball - Uncommitted; First live look at him, outstanding athleticism and agility behind the plate, received well in all quadrants and all pitches, had chance to see him catch 91-93 mph stuff from 2023 RHP Gabe Gaeckle and he was quite comfortable. Numerous on the bag pop throws between innings, times consistently 2.01-2.03, strong block skills as well with abililty to deaden the ball off his body. Ran 4.59 down the line, swing has some occasional length to ball on outer half though also flashed willingness to use the opposite field which eliminated that length, has ample bat speed and showed barrel awareness.
