Preseason All-State. This is our second look at Eddy in this type of setting. Large, tall, frame with long arms and legs. There is significant room for physical maturity even at his current size. Starts from an open stance, hands positioned in the middle of his body. Has minimal hand load and stride. Shows good bat speed through the zone, with a high finish. Squared up the ball consistently in his BP round. Moves well left and right for a large frame and demonstrated his ability to play both corner infield positions. Will be exciting to see him develop for the next few years and see what position he focuses on.

Riverside County Preseason All-State - long and lanky 6-foot-4 195 pound frame. Released from a pure over-the-top arm slot with a short arm swing in the back enabling him to hide the ball well and create some deception. Fastball sat at 77-80 mph with a downward plane. Curveball lacked consistency at 68-70 mph but showed some potential to be an out pitch. Change-up sank at 71-73 mph but struggled to command the pitch and keep out of the dirt. Raw pitcher with a projectable frame that needs to work on using his entire frame to create more power towards home plate.
