Body: 6-4, 195 lbs. Solid pitchers build. Larger frame that is filling out. Athleticism throughout.
Mechanics: Uses a higher knee tuck that works straight down the mound and in good direction towards home. Slight back hip engagement that he stays connected with down the mound. Firm front leg at landing and finishes in a good fielding position. Clean arm action. Full arm swing with a loose arm circle in the back. H ¾ slot that is consistent with all pitch types. Good arm speed.
FB: Decent spin for velo at around 2200 rpm. Pounded the zone consistently with it to all quadrants. Some present ASR.
SL: Sweeping slider due to minimal vertical break. Had some trouble locating but when thrown for strikes, RHHs have a hard time with it.
CH: Only threw one in-game action. Straight change that had some late diving action.
9/05/20
Bay Area World Series 2020 (BAWS) - Uncommitted; One of the more projectable '22 RHP in the area, long and loose, ball comes out easily, spins both the FB up to 84 (max 2231 spin) and SL (max 2317 spin) with RPMs that project future velo gains. Look for him to really jump in 2021.
