Cal State Fullerton recruit who touched 91 in the first and held his high-80s fastball throughout the game. Working with a solid three-pitch mix, he set the first 13 Wolverines down in order before allowing a single to SS Drew Bowser. He quickly retired the next two to get through the fifth.

Adolphus is a large frame with width in the shoulder showing present strength and thickness in the lower half. He started all the games at 1st base with good range and plenty of arm strength to play there. His hands are soft at 1st regularly picking balls during pregame. The bat picked up some big hits especially an INF single in the bottom of the 7th to put the Lancers ahead. He also picked up the win against Valley Christian jumping on the hill for the final 1.2 innings and showing an easy arm from a high 3/4 release point mixing in a CHG that showed armside run with good arm speed. He’s got a chance to be a two-way player at Cal State Fullerton.

Cal State Fullerton Commit, 6’1 185lb large, strong, toned body with muscular definition and barrel chest. Adolphus has a quick bat with a level swing plane. Presently has excellent raw power that plays down in game, but will develop with age, maturity and at bats. Not a true base threat, but is an adequate base runner. He pitched in this double header vs. Santiago and gave up a HR to Turang, projects as a position player in college due to his raw hitting ability and power. In the double header Adolphus finished 2 for 8 with 2 runs, 2 RBI’s, and 4 strikeouts.
