Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Smaller frame, compact build, gritty player with some 'ballplayer-ness' that comes out when observing him over an extended period, unfortunately had to leave BAWS early due to an injury sustained while hustling down the line to beat out a ball hit to SS, ran 7.09 60-yd and posted 81 mph SS throw during workout, has some barrel feel and hand speed, maxed 87 mph EV with 78% sweet spot % and 44% line drives.

Positional Profile: SS/2B Body: 5-8, 145-pounds. Lanky proportions on smaller compact frame, does has some lean strength in lower body. Hit: RHH. Medium depth in box, medium width feet slightly off the plate, weight a bit to backside early with even stance, hands comfortably off the body, tucks lead knee as lower body timing mechanism out to medium stride, deep hand load. Fairly flat stroke, has feel for the barrel, though deeper load his stroke is fairly compact, aggressive and competitive hitter with line drive ability in middle of field. Power: 84 max exit velocity, 66.9 max bat speed, 22.1 max hand speed. Arm: RH. INF - 76 mph. Quick arm stroke, compact arm action, slot ranges from 3/4 to high-3/4, aggressive with his arm on the move. Defense: Closes on ball quickly, plays low through ball with concentrated focus, soft hands, able to adjust to off schedule plays, quick feet with ability to cut off ball with good angles. Run: 7.34 runner in the 60.

Body: 5-8, 145-pounds. Smaller athletic build. Slightly undersized. Room to add gains. Hit: RHH. Simple stance. Wider set feet that are straight up and bat rested at his shoulder. Bat works back as he uses a toe tap and turn trigger. Level-uphill path that produced a 66.7% Flyball rate. Higher finish. Had a nice 1B knock in game 1 where he sat back on a CH and barreled it down the 3B line. Power: 87 max exit velocity Current singles hitter with some flashes of gap to gap power. Rotational acceleration max of 16.5 gs shows decent potential. Arm: RH. INF - 80 mph. Average arm strength. Shorter release that comes out of a lower slot. 4/5 accurate during defensive workout. Defense: Average defensive actions. At times played through the ball nicely which didn't break up momentum. Average feet and time to release. Clean funnel. At times went to a glove tap before release which hurt time to release. Run: 7.29 runner in the 60.

Offensive notes: RHH - Balanced stance with toe turn and even hands lowering to spot. Big push back on load before quick hands work with big turns allowed him to lift to LF and LCF. Best swing is to pullside and showed up in games for a long double. 60-yard - 7.19 / EV mph - 87
Defensive notes: MIF - Showed athletic feet rounding and funneling with soft glove using glove taps to stay on time and let his higher overtop arm keep throws firm and online. During games made plays showing fair range and ability to get rid of it. INF mph - 82
Pitching notes: Average front knee with hands down and up to chin. Jumps to stiff front side leg with compact circle to H-3/4. Quickness in the arm and athletic thrower. FB had sink through zone. FB - 75-81

Frontside turns on smaller hand load. Backside drive is strong and able to stop hips well. Barrel stays connected well early. Good bat lag through the zone allowing him to say on pitches and behind them. Compact swing, repeatable and projectable as he consistently drove balls all over the CF/LF OF. Power: 87 max exit velocity Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Compact, quick arm. Stays in pocket well and able to put balls on the bag. When under control was able to get rid of it quickly.
